Doublethink is not part of Western psychology’s lexicon, but it is a defensive strategy, nonetheless, by which we hold two conflicting beliefs in our minds at the same time, and use one or the other, depending on the situation–rather like a chameleon switches colors–in order to remain in conformity with the official position.. The “High-Rise Safety Initiative” Targets a New Investigation in 2015 Next fall will mark the 13^th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, and it could be an important one for New Yorkers and supporters of 9/11 Truth. A campaign called the “High-Rise Safety Initiative” aims to place a measure on the ballot that would require the city’s Department of Buildings to launch a new investigation into the destruction of Building 7. If the initiative is successful, the first officially sanctioned investigation to deliver a truthful account of what really happened on 9/11 could soon become imminent. But the investigation will only go forward if the campaign’s sponsors can bring in enough donations to fund the petition drive and gather 110,000 signatures. The NYC Coalition for Accountability Now (NYC CAN) must raise $250,000 by June 1^st. As of March 28, they had raised $125,000.

Andy Steele of 9/11 Free Fall RadioAndy Steele’s work as a community organizer may not have taken the same path as President Obama’s, but it has provided him with some interesting experiences. After spending a summer as a guest English teacher at a Chinese university, Andy returned to the US and received a degree in Creative Writing. One week after his return, 9/11 happened. A friend in China forwarded him an email suggesting that people in our own government were involved and, at the time, he dismissed the idea. While teaching English in Uzbekistan as a Peace Corps volunteer in 2004-05, Andy organized his 1st-5th grade students to pick up trash in their neighborhood. This upset government officials because it made those in charge of picking up the trash look bad. This seemingly minor incident, plus the uprising that occurred in Uzbekistan while he was there, changed his world view (Massacre in Uzbekistan is a film that documents the killing of almost 1,000 people on the orders of dictator Islam Karimov, a friend of U.S. leaders at the time).

WTC Building #7, a 47-story high-rise not hit by an airplane, exhibited all the characteristics of classic controlled demolition with explosives:

Rapid onset of collapse
Sounds of explosions
Symmetrical structural failure
Free-fall acceleration through the path of what was greatest resistance
Imploded, collapsing completely, landing almost in its own footprint
Massive volume of expanding pyroclastic-like clouds
Expert corroboration from the top European controlled demolition professional
Foreknowledge of "collapse" by media, NYPD, FDNY

In the aftermath of WTC7's destruction, strong evidence of demolition using incendiary devices was discovered:

FEMA finds rapid oxidation and intergranular melting on structural steel samples
Several tons of molten metal reported by numerous highly qualified witnesses
Chemical signature of the incendiary thermite found in solidified molten metal, and dust samples

WTC7 exhibited none of the characteristics of destruction by fire:

Slow onset with large visible deformations
Asymmetrical collapse which follows the path of least resistance (laws of conservation of momentum would cause a falling, to the side most damaged by the fires)
Evidence of fire temperatures capable of softening steel
High-rise buildings with much larger, hotter, and longer lasting fires have never collapsed

As seen in this revealing photo, the Twin Towers' destruction exhibited all of the characteristics of destruction by explosives:

Destruction proceeds through the path of greatest resistance at nearly free-fall acceleration
Improbable symmetry of debris distribution
Extremely rapid onset of destruction
Over 100 first responders reported explosions and flashes
Multi-ton steel sections ejected laterally
Mid-air pulverization of 90,000 tons of concrete & metal decking
Massive volume of expanding pyroclastic-like clouds
1200-foot-diameter debris field: no "pancaked" floors found
Isolated explosive ejections 20–40 stories below demolition front
Total building destruction: dismemberment of steel frame
Several tons of molten metal found under all 3 high-rises
Evidence of thermite incendiaries found by FEMA in steel samples
Evidence of explosives found in dust samples

The three high-rises exhibited none of the characteristics of destruction by fire:

Slow onset with large visible deformations

Evidence of fire temperatures capable of softening steel
