Early design tests confirmed that the Twin Towers could survive the impact of a Boeing 707, which is similar in size to Boeing 767 jets that crashed into them on 9/11 |
Both technical calculations and testimony from WTC structural engineers confirm that the Twin Towers were built to withstand the impact from the passenger jets that hit them on 9/11.
Airplane impact tests conducted by WTC structural engineers during the design of the Twin Towers used the Boeing 707, which was one of the largest passenger jets in the world at the time. The results of the test, carried out early in 1964, calculated that the towers would handle the impact of a 707 traveling at 600 mph without collapsing.
Even though the two Boeing 767 aircraft that were said to be used in the 9/11 attacks were slightly larger than the 707, technical comparisons show that the 707 has more destructive force at cruising speed. The following analysis was compiled by 911research.net:

Editor’s note: This is Part 5 (see Part 4) of an extensive report by 9/11 researcher Adam Taylor that exposes the fallacies and flaws in the arguments made by the editors of Popular Mechanics (PM) in the latest edition of Debunking 9/11 Myths. We encourage you to submit your own reviews of the book at Amazon.com and other places where it is sold. (Quotes from Popular Mechanics’ book are shown in red and with page numbers.)
The next section of PM’s book deals with another subject not previously dealt with in the 2006 edition: the nanothermite discovered in dust samples from the World Trade Center. PM’s stated objective of the updated book is to debunk “the most common speculation about free-fall times, ‘nanothermite,’ and other aspects of the Twin Towers’ collapses…,” (pg. xxii). However, PM’s section regarding nanothermite utterly fails to do this – not because it presents weak scientific arguments, but because it provides virtually no scientific arguments at all.
Molten Metal Flowing from the South Tower
PM’s only scientific criticism of claims made by individuals in the 9/11 Truth movement in regards to thermite applies to the spout of molten metal seen coming from the 81st floor of the South Tower, which some have cited as evidence of a thermite-based demolition for the Towers. In spite of photographs and numerous eyewitness accounts of molten steel/iron and concrete, PM chooses to address only this one example. PM’s explanation for this is simply that the material is molten aluminum, a claim echoed by other defenders of the official narrative. It is also a claim that has been thoroughly refuted. PM cites NIST as saying that the material may have been molten aluminum, but individuals such as Dr. Steven Jones have demonstrated – by experiment – that, in daylight conditions, molten aluminum appears silvery and does not glow brightly like the metal seen coming from the South Tower.[i]

The unprecedented World Premiere Tour of 9/11: Explosive Evidence – Experts Speak Out, which began in late May in Beverly Hills and ran through July in San Francisco, was a resounding success, reaching thousands of people in 32 cities nationwide and countless others through live radio interviews and premieres that were live-streamed online. Many of the experts featured in this landmark AE911Truth documentary film joined architect/director Richard Gage, AIA, at tour stops across the country, as did family members of 9/11 victims and prominent supporters of AE911Truth. From the dramatic “Opening Night” premiere in Beverly Hills to the successful back-to-back screenings in New York City to the grand finale in San Francisco, the tour enlightened many attendees who were unaware of the evidence for controlled demolition and inspired supporters to take action and educate others.
Here we chronicle highlights from the World Premiere Tour. |

AE911Truth Action Group Leaders Embark
on Cross-Country Bike Ride
Editor’s Note: This article introduces the 3-month-long bicycle tour that AE911Truth Action Group leaders Rena Patty and Pam Senzee are taking across America in order to bring nationwide awareness to our new documentary, 9/11: Explosive Evidence – Experts Speak Out. You can learn more about the tour and contribute to their effort at www.911journeyfortruth.org.
Rena Patty will be educating Americans about the 9/11 evidence as she treks from coast to coast |
Orcas Island resident Rena Patty embarks today on the journey of lifetime – a bicycle ride across America. Patty, with traveling companion Pamela Senzee from Phoenix, AZ, expects to take 90 days to reach their destination New York City. Both women are Action Group Team Leaders for the nonprofit Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth (AE911Truth). Their journey is dedicated to all who have died and suffered loss on account of 9/11. Their mission is to educate the public about the scientific forensic evidence of the destruction of the three World Trade Center (WTC) hi-rises on 9/11 and to introduce people to the experts at AE911Truth. |

As shown above, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) created nano-thermite composite materials with explosive properties by adding gas-releasing components |
In order to understand what nanothermite is, we first must understand what ordinary commercial thermite is. Thermite is a mixture of a metal and the oxide of another metal, usually aluminum (Al) and iron oxide (Fe2O3), in a granular or powder form. When ignited, the energetic Al-Fe thermite reaction produces molten iron and aluminum oxide, with the molten iron reaching temperatures well in excess of 4000° F. These temperatures are certainly high enough to allow cuts through structural steel, which generally has a melting point of around 2750° F.
There is also a variant of thermite known as thermate, which is a combination of thermite and sulfur, and is more efficient at cutting through steel. This form of thermite is believed to have been used in the demolition of World Trade Center Building 7. Although conventional thermite has the capability to cut through structural steel, it is technically an incendiary and not an explosive. |
