As 9/11 activists, one of the perplexing dilemmas we must overcome is the often frustrating process of community outreach. How do we get people to actually actually come and listen to us? What are the most effective and practical ways of raising awareness about the inconsistencies in the official 9/11 account?

One that I have found particularly successful is giving “street presentations.” I go to where the 9/11 newcomers are.

When the objective is to spread information and awareness to as many people as possible, giving presentations “on the street” is a strong working strategy, since people experience your outreach in a familiar place they feel comfortable with. Actually you’ll be on the sidewalk, not in the middle of the street, and you may even be able to set up a small table to show your literature and DVDs to passersby.

Los Angeles: Conscious Life Expo 2/11-2/14

Richard Gage, AIA, will give the keynote address for a star-studded panel that will expose and examine the evidence of 9/11 at the popular Conscious Life Expo in Los Angeles. This is an Expo “for open minded people”.

Former Senator Mike Gravel, who represented Alaska from 1969 to 1981, will also be a panel speaker and will discuss the effort towards a California Ballot Initiative to initiate a real investigation of 9/11. Senator Gravel secured a place in history when he arranged for the “Pentagon Papers” to be entered into the Congressional Record in 1971, thus helping to end the Vietnam War. The Senator’s words at the time, “It is my constitutional obligation to protect the security of the people by fostering the free flow of information absolutely essential to their democratic decision-making” are just as applicable today.

Avant de me rendre à San Francisco pour couvrir l'événement, j'ignorais ce qu'était un "truther"*, mais j'allais très vite l'apprendre à mes dépends. Peu après que la version écrite de l'emission de radio que j'ai produite pour KPFA parut sur le site "Examiner.com", j'ai été accusé d'en être un. Mes tourmenteurs n'étaient pas du tout contents. Certains des commentaires les plus durs ont été proférés par des adeptes du "James Randi Educational Forum", un regroupement prônant la pensée rationnelle. Il semble que d'avoir couvert l'événement, d'avoir simplement rapporté ce qui s'était passé lors d'une conférence de presse, ait fait de moi un "truther", nom d’abord utilisé par les activistes du mouvement pour la vérité sur le 11 septembre (9/11 truth) eux-mêmes, puis adopté dans un sens très péjoratif par leurs opposants.

Both the UN Secretary General and the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations harshly criticized some remarks in my personal blog that mentioned the 9/11 attacks. They referred to the views expressed there as ‘despicable and deeply offensive,’ ‘noxious, ‘inflammatory,’ and ‘preposterous.’ Their comments were apparently made in response to a letter written to the UN Secretary General by the head of UN Monitor, a Geneva-based highly partisan NGO, that called misleading attention to this passage in the blog. Ambassador Rice called for my dismissal from my unpaid post as an independent Special Rapporteur of the UN Human Rights Council with a mandate to report upon the Israeli observance of “human rights in Palestinian territories occupied since 1967.”

(Reuters) - U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon condemned "preposterous" comments by a U.N.-appointed expert on Palestinian rights that there was a cover-up over the September 11 attacks, Ban's chief of staff said on Monday.

The official, Vijay Nambiar, said however that it was not up to Ban to fire the expert, U.S. academic Richard Falk, as demanded by UN Watch, a Geneva-based advocacy group.

Falk wrote in a blog this month that there had been an "apparent cover-up" by U.S. authorities over the September 11, 2001 attacks, in which hijackers flew airliners into the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon near Washington.

Ceux d'entre nous qui tentent d'exposer les preuves de la démolition contrôlée des tours du World Trade Center à un "non-initié" risquent devoir faire face à une forte résistance psychologique. Certains sont naturellement réceptifs aux démonstrations scientifiques. D'autres ne le sont pas.

Le WTC 3 sévèrement endommagé par les d´bris provenant de la tour Sud. Pas d'effrondrement total. La tour Nord tombera par-dessus sous peu.

Il y a moyen d'amener les sceptiques à plus d'ouverture d'esprit sans faire appel à aucun détail technique, en comparant les immeubles non-effondrés du WTC aux trois tours qui ont subi une oblitération totale.Montrez les photos suivantes à votre interlocuteur, ou interlocutrice entêtés. Demandez-lui de porter son attention sur les dommages infligés par la chute des débris provenant des Tours Jumelles et de constater que de grandes portions de ces immeubles demeurent cependant debout.
