Bike Riders Connect with Thousands Across the U.S.

This report gives highlights of the second half of the 4000–mile bicycle rides Rena Patty and Pamela Senzee took across the country to educate middle America about the vital information detailed in 9/11: Explosive Evidence — Experts Speak Out. They left a solid trail of bright points of enlightenment from the West Coast to the East Coast, connecting with locals and giving interviews to several newspapers and radio stations along the way. You can read complete accounts of their travels at 911JourneyforTruth.org.

A big THANK YOU goes out to the 40 contributors who chipped in and surpassed our $3200 goal of… support to this noble effort!

Here are some excerpts from the second half of the tour blog.

    Sept. 10: Fargo, ND

Pam Senzee heads east from the start of the “Journey for Truth” in Washington State.

Pam and Rena headed on different paths beginning in Fargo, North Dakota. Pam took a more direct route through bigger cities to do college outreach and get larger media coverage. Rena continued on a route through rural communities with more frequent visits to fire departments, police stations, sheriff’s offices, and churches.

Pam: “Before I left Fargo – beginning my solo trek to Washington DC – this Iraq war veteran and I both cried.”

Rena: “…so I rode out of Fargo on September 10 solo, again in a strong crosswind gusting to 40 mph!”.

    Sept. 14: Milaca, MN

Rena: “Several times, the phrase ‘old-fashioned barnstorming tour’ came to mind while I was riding between towns.”

    Sept. 20: Minneapolis, MN

Pam: “Minneapolis was a haven of support from activists.”

    Sept. 20: Lansing, IA

Pam: “…The serendipity of the road has never ceased to amaze me — with all of its trails there is a solid, interwoven, golden thread of pervasive light illuminating the road ahead and bringing comfort as the road unfolds…”

“I feel so very blessed that we both made it and to have had the privilege to play a pivotal role in a sweeping team effort which has included many, many others.” — Pam Senzee

    Sept. 22: Cochrane, WI

Rena: “…stay warmer at night by wearing my raingear inside my sleeping bag. The past two nights, I had to find my raingear in the middle of the night to keep warm enough.”

    Sept. 25: Kewanee, IL

Rena: “I crossed the Mississippi River yesterday, and I’ve ridden two–thirds of the distance to NYC.”

    Oct. 1: Chicago, IL

Pam: “Students, first responders, and ‘just folks’ along the way have, as has become the norm, been receptive and open to the message — it’s my belief that a paradigm shift is taking place, a collective awakening, people are ready to hear this message.”

    Oct. 11: Erie, PA

Rena: “In the morning, I woke up to the sound of roaring waves on Lake Erie and wind in the trees. ”

    Oct. 16: Meyersdale, PA

Pam: “As Washington, D.C., grows closer and while I reflect upon the trek up to now while riding the Great Allegheny Trail toward Maryland, I consider the many young people I’ve spoken to across the country.”

    Oct. 16: Rochester, NY

Rena: “I discovered today why I am on the Erie Canal route. There is a bike path along the Erie Canal from Buffalo all the way to Albany. That means that I have a route with no cars, except when I go into the towns to make connections, for the next 250 miles!”

    Oct. 22: Washington, D.C.

Pam: “Arriving in DC yesterday, I was acutely aware that I arrived with many others who have helped along the way”

    Oct. 26, Utica, NY

Rena: “Riding through the city of Utica, I was almost hit by a car. The driver was making a left-hand turn across traffic, didn’t see me, and missed crashing into me by only 5 feet!”

Pam Senzee heads east from the start of the “Journey for Truth” in Washington State.

    Oct. 27: Washington, D.C.

Pam: “For myself, the D.C. actions themselves are pivotal – the culmination of a goal to make a genuine difference, as an activist, with the unfolding and far–reaching conditions of a post 9/11 world.”

Pam also delivered the nano-thermite paper and other 9/11 materials to the FBI office in Washington, D.C. In addition, she visited the Catholic Worker, an organization working for peace and social justice, and met many activists formerly with the Rock Creek Free Press.

    Oct. 27: New York City

Rena: “After traveling all the way across the country, I most wanted to stop in at fire stations in lower Manhattan, to let firefighters there know about the 4000 miles and 95 days on the road to raise awareness of AE911Truth.”

    Oct. 28: New York City

Pam: “As my train pulls out of Penn Station in NYC heading, ultimately, back home to the Phoenix Metro, I’m reflecting upon all that has transpired over the past three months since Rena and I commenced our journey from the San Juan Islands on July 25th. I feel so very blessed that we both made it and to have had the privilege to play a pivotal role in a sweeping team effort which has included many, many others.”

Rena entered New York City over the George Washington Bridge just a day before Hurricane Sandy hit the city.

    Oct. 28: Chicago, IL

Rena: “Notes from riding the train from Washington, D.C., to Chicago:”

    • “On the train going west, I remember each day the satisfaction of riding my bicycle east. Despair at times tells me that there was no reason for the ride. But I don’t listen. I remember conversations and people who received DVDs. Unlike the bicycle, the train rolls night and day. The countryside looks different now, frosty and cold in the mornings.”
    • “I’m grateful for friends and family at home inquiring about my wellbeing, eager to welcome me home.”

During her journey, Pam did outreach at the following colleges and universities:

    • Dickinson State University, Dickinson, ND
    • University of Mary, Bismark, ND
    • North Dakota State University, Fargo, ND
    • Minnesota State College, Moorhead, MN
