Join AE911Truth as a Volunteer Coordinator Are you looking for a way to do something to help reveal and disseminate the truth about 9/11? Do you enjoy connecting with like-minded individuals and helping them put their strengths to use for a worthy goal? If so, then look no further. Your skills, talents and passion for justice are welcome here at AE911Truth, where we are currently recruiting dedicated volunteer coordinators.
AE911Truth constantly has new people signing up to help us accomplish our mission – and that’s where our volunteer coordinators come in. They play matchmaker between new volunteers and all the opportunities for getting involved that AE911Truth offers. These include becoming a member of one of the AE911Truth Teams, joining or starting an AE911Truth Independent Action Group, and becoming a Local Contact. The amount of communication involved in this role makes it perfect for supporters who love working with people and identifying their skills and talents. As a volunteer coordinator, you essentially become a job placement expert for one of the most crucial efforts there is – securing a real investigation of the WTC catastrophe.
Mark Graham has been the Volunteer Team Leader for over a year now. His duties include managing the Volunteer Team, welcoming new volunteers, and working with other teams to get them help. “I like seeing volunteers fit in with one of the AE911Truth Teams, participate in projects and enjoy the work,” Mark said. “We try to find the best fit given the new volunteer's experiences, abilities and interests.” Connecting with new volunteers over the phone has been a rewarding experience for Mark. “Thousands of people look at our website every day, and what I like the most is getting to talk to the select few individuals out there who make the generous offer to help AE911Truth,” he said. “Everybody has his or her own experience in dealing with 9/11. Many of them have been unable to talk to their friends, family or co-workers about 9/11 openly, so when they call us, they are thrilled to have found somebody who will listen.” Mark described his interaction with new volunteers as “a great responsibility,” both to the new volunteers and to AE911Truth itself. “I find that I learn something from every new volunteer,” he said. “When a new volunteer gets involved, that is where AE911Truth gets stronger. I am very grateful to them.” Volunteer coordinator Phil Block has also been inspired by the work he does at AE911Truth. "My involvement on the Volunteer Team has been satisfying for a few different reasons, but one that stands out is that I get to meet and speak over the phone with a wide range of very interesting people – occasionally one of my 9/11 Truth heroes!” he explained. “There is no lack of variety and talent to connect with and put to good use. When a new person is successfully placed on another team, it's very satisfying."
You can live in any state or country and still participate as a volunteer coordinator. Just be willing to contribute 5-10 hours of your time per week and attend weekly conference call meetings that last about an hour. In between, simply keep in touch by phone and email. Are you a person of action and cooperation who is interested in helping advance 9/11 Truth? Are you ready to help out at the most credible and influential organization within the 9/11 Truth movement? If you’ve already signed our petition, just fill out our volunteer form. Please make sure to select “Volunteer Your Time” in the Subject Area, and don’t forget to leave your phone number. There are other ways to help as well. You can make a donation, become a sustaining supporter, and join or start an Action Group in your local area. For whatever you can do, THANK YOU!
