Just before 9:11 p.m. on Sept. 11, the ninth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, Richard Gage, AIA, founder of Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth, stood at the corner of Church and Worth Streets in Lower Manhattan with 200 9/11 Truth advocates in eager anticipation of the switch being thrown on what until that moment had been a tightly held secret by the AE911Truth leadership -- a two-billion-candlepower Third Beam of light about to shoot into the NYC skyline representing the controlled-demolition destruction of Building 7 -- the third WTC skyscraper, not hit by any plane, to fall on 9/11.
The purpose of the Third Beam -- championed and executed by Barbara Honegger with the enthusiastic support of AE911Truth core team members, NYCCAN and the BuildingWhat? Campaign -- was to break through the media blackout surrounding Building 7’s fall and its censorship by the official 9/11 Commission Report.

After a whirlwind series of events in Washington, DC, working closely with Richard Gage, AIA, and the AE911Truth team, I was honored to be able to travel for the first time to New York City and attend an importantconference in Lower Manhattan entitled “How The World Changed After 9/11.” I was able to meet in person for the first time, two of my fellow co-authors on the so-called nanothermite paper, Niels Harrit and Kevin Ryan, as well as other courageous leaders in the 9/11 Truth movement, and witness, like anyone else on the street, the glow of the WTC 7 “Third Beam.” This article can only scratch the surface of the speakers I heard, the connections I made, and the welter of first impressions I got from Manhattan and Brooklyn. Good afternoon, my name is Richard Gage, AIA. I’m a member of the American Institute of Architects; I’ve been a licensed architect for 22 years; And I’m the founder of the non-profit organization, Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth (AE911Truth).
As a group, we now have more than 1,270 architect and engineer petition signers. Collectively, we have more than 25,000 years of building and technical experience. This press conference is being given by our petition signers and supporters today in 65 [it turned out to be 67] locations around the world, including 30 states and 4 countries.
Today, we’re here to inform you that we have uncovered evidence that the official investigations into what happened to the World Trade Center skyscrapers on 9/11 were deeply flawed, or worse. The scientific forensic facts we have discovered have very troubling implications.

Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth founder, Richard Gage, AIA, started the jubilant e-mail to AE911Truth members and supporters after the historic two-billion-candlepower Third Beam burst into the NYC skyline at 9:11 p.m. on Sept. 11: “The Third Beam went on without a hitch! … It was awesome, Team!” (“AE911Truth Shines Third Beam into NYC Skyline for WTC 7”)
Indeed, that it ‘went off without a hitch’ was the appearance. But the behind-the-scenes reality of this brilliant success was that the Third Beam “almost didn’t happen” at every step along the way of an incredible months-long process -- and at every one of those steps, ‘something’ incredible happened in order to ‘make it happen.’

November 9, 2010, at 7 p.m., AE911Truth will visit the Sonoma State University Campus for a presentation of Blueprint for Truth - The Architecture of Destruction at Cooperage hall. The event is hosted by Project Censored, which has provided crucial coverage of 9/11-censored stories over the past five years. The 25 most censored stories 2009-2010 are part of the Project’s mission to showcase significant issues that the corporate media won't cover. Project Censored now has over 30 college and university affiliates contributing on its expanding website. Recently, our allies at Project Censored have been censored by so called “alternative” publications over its coverage of 9/11 Truth.

Since the destruction of the World Trade Center skyscrapers on September 11, 2001, over a dozen technical professionals from various fields have publicly defended the Official Conspiracy Theory (OCT) used to explain the three building collapses. These OCT advocates have promulgated NIST’s fire-induced, gravitational collapse hypothesis through the mainstream media or in public debates with AE911Truth, and have delivered a wide range of arguments that haven’t been collectively refuted – until now. On September 9, 2010, a few of their public statements were put to the test in a live mock debate with AE911Truth at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

On September 9, a major press conference was held by AE911Truth at the National Press Club in Washington, DC. Yet, this was only one of a series of important presentations and activities by Richard Gage, AIA, and volunteers who traveled to Washington, DC, and New York City in conjunction with the ninth anniversary of September 11, 2001.
The milestone press release was delivered to more than 200 media groups at the NPC, bringing awareness that now more than 1,300 architects and engineers are calling for a new investigation into 9/11. The text of that press release is contained in the accompanying article, “AE911Truth Delivers the Evidence to the Media: Press Conference -- National Press Club - Washington DC.” Also on the same day, AE911Truth press conferences were held in 67 locations in the United States and Internationally in Canada, New Zealand, Australia and Spain.
