Over 20,000 Architects at SF AIA Convention Come Face to Face With 9/11 Truth

Richard Gage at AIA 2009 ConventionIt was a very successful event for AE911Truth unprecedented debut at the prestigious American Institute of Architects (AIA) 2009 National Convention and Design Exposition, where we spoke to hundreds of architects and must have added about 50 to our petitioners over the course of 3 days.

Most all the responses were positive. People were very open-minded and curious. It was exciting to speak with all these professionals that are really getting it. Most architects, not all, were willing to listen and engaged positively with us.

Obtaining a booth at this year's convention at San Francisco's Moscone Center marks a significant accomplishment for us.

We have a structural engineer who is also an architect stop by and sign our petition who has worked on 50 to 60 story buildings. He was completely unaware of the free-fall acceleration of building 7 and immediately acknowledged that this implies a controlled demolition.

We also had the AIA Chapter CEO in Virginia sign the petition – who had been a "fan" and quite aware of these issues and invited us to his major regional convention and offered us a free booth space!

Amid hundreds of exhibitions by manufacturers of buildings, tiles, and window coverings, our 10' x 10' booth, with two large LCD screens showing the dramatic demolitions of the WTC Twin Towers and Building 7, did stand out dramatically – especially with the backdrop of our 7 professionally designed banners depicting the rest of the evidence and our mission.

Most of the time we had 5 to 7 volunteers, sharply dressed, who were engaging with the booth visitors – the busiest booth around us by far!

Convinced architects were able to sign on the spot our petition calling for a new investigation. We were also giving away our latest brochures, ourlatest DVD, and our evidence cards.

We are very grateful for our volunteers who were coming from across the country.
