Help 60,000 Librarians Face 9/11 EvidenceAE911Truth to Challenge American Library Association with Experts Speak Out DVD at Annual Convention, June 28 – July 1Tuesday June 18, 2013 Representatives of Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth will be received at the 2013 American Library Association (ALA) Conference in Chicago by many curious attendees. This unique outreach event for AE911Truth extends for four days, from Friday, June 28, to Monday, July 1. We will be stationed at booth #261 among 800 exhibiting organizations featuring the most up-to-date authors and educational resources. AE911Truth is pleased to participate and will feature our newest and most important documentary, 9/11: Explosive Evidence – Experts Speak Out. While this documentary is the centerpiece of our ALA outreach, it is only one of many items that we will be introducing to library staff and their supporters from across America. Library Outreach Team Leader Wayne Coste explained the mission clearly. “We are helping Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth get Experts Speak Out into public libraries across the country,” he said. “We know the public expects libraries to have a wide diversity of opinion and viewpoints. However, we also know that public libraries rely on reviews from a limited universe of publications when making their decision to include materials into their circulating collection. Because there are no “mainstream media” reviews extolling the value of scientific and evidence-based material like AE911Truth’s groundbreaking documentaries, many libraries have overlooked or even given away Experts Speak Out instead of adding it to their selection.”AE911Truth founder Richard Gage, AIA, notes, “We are expecting that those who are introduced to our informational material at this convention will not dismiss the power-packed information in our documentary. Almost everyone who views it ends up agreeing with these experts in the fields of engineering and architecture.” Our headline banner underwent significant internal review, including discussion with AE911Truth petition signers who are also library professionals. Tom Spellman, an AE911Truth Board Member who helped organize this event, said, “We took a lot of input and ultimately decided that the most effective title would be ‘Research and Science … About the most important event of our time. A necessary addition to your non-fiction collection.’” To encourage libraries to expand their non-fiction collection, we have a special 20% discount program for attendees that will be helpful, regardless of whether the visitor represents an independent library or regional libraries. Additionally, three new bundles of products, targeted to libraries, are available at discounted prices. These discounted bundles are also available to all AE911Truth shoppers through the late summer!
With the support of AE911Truth members who have an interest in outreach to libraries, we were able to place an ad (see below) in the preview issues of Cognotes, the interactive electronic edition of the ALA Conference’s newsletter. It will be emailed before and after the conference to all 60,000+ ALA members, including Conference registrants and allied groups, introducing them to the event and aiding them in planning their ALA Conference experience. We are asking you, our supporters, to help us by contacting your local libraries and letting them know that. AE911Truth is exhibiting at the ALA conference in Chicago. If their staff members are attending, suggest that they stop by our booth #261. We also encourage you to become a volunteer with AE911Truth if you’d like to participate in future outreach efforts.
Thanks for your help!
