BUILDING EXPERTS WANT WORLD TRADE CENTER LAWSUIT TO CONSIDER CONTROLLED DEMOLITION EVIDENCE

New York, NY - "Evidence of the explosive controlled demolition of the Twin Towers and World Trade Center Building 7 should be considered in court" according to Richard Gage, AIA, founder of the group Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth (AE911Truth). Gage's comment was in response to a Reuters news story on October 18, "Judge questions WTC blame of United Airlines in September 11 case". World Trade Center Properties (WTCP) blames the airlines for negligent behavior resulting in fires that caused the complete destruction of three World Trade Center skyscrapers on September 11, 2001. At issue is the extent of liability held by the airlines for lapses in security at Boston's Logan Airport and the Portland, Maine Jetport that day. The trial will determine the amount of compensation owed World Trade Center Properties for the destruction of the buildings themselves and the subsequent loss of income to WTCP.

"The buildings did not come down as a result of the fires. Fire cannot pulverize concrete into dust and small pieces in mid-air. Fire cannot melt steel, yet the steel was melted. Fire has never brought down steel-framed buildings" says Gage, a 24-year architect, in response to Judge Alvin Hellerstein's announcement. "The forensic evidence shows that security lapses at the airports did not cause the collapse of those buildings."

From the onset, the premise of the litigation has been that the airline defendants were negligent in their administration of security measures, allowing the 9/11 hijackers to board American Airlines Flight 11 and United Flight 175, take over the planes, and fly them into the Twin Towers. According to the lawsuit, the resulting inferno caused the destruction of the Towers. WTC Building 7, a football field's distance away, sustained minor damage and a few relatively small meandering fires, presumably as a result of the collapse of the nearby North Tower. A study conducted by the Department of Commerce's National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) blamed the complete collapse of WTC7, at 5:20 PM that same day, on those fires.

The group maintains that the airline defendants have been unfairly and incorrectly blamed for the complete destruction of the Twin Towers. "There is extensive physical, forensic and testimonial evidence that the buildings were brought down by explosive controlled demolition" says Gage. "By not introducing this evidence the parties and the court have, apparently, blindly accepted a false account of what really happened. This has resulted in settlements of at least $4 billion from the airline defendants to date, and will result in many more such unnecessary and unjust losses if the airline defendants are unable to present all the available evidence in their defense."

AE911Truth's recently released documentary film, "9/11: Explosive Evidence – Experts Speak Out" which has been shown for several weeks on Denver's PBS Station CPT12, features architects, engineers, and physicists explaining the characteristics and evidence of controlled demolition seen in the destruction of the Twin Towers and Building 7. The documentary was the "most watched" and "most shared" program on the PBS television network during the week following September 11, 2012 and remains very highly ranked.

Gage and more than 1,700 architects and engineers who have looked at the evidence recognize the characteristics of controlled demolition in the complete destruction of the three WTC buildings. These include: sudden onset of collapse, rapid downward acceleration, mid-air pulverization of concrete floor slabs, symmetrical structural failure, and near total dismemberment of the steel frame structure of all three buildings. Another indication of controlled demolition is the lack of precedent for a steel framed high-rise to have ever collapsed due to fire prior to 9/11.

Says Gage, "Scientists have found evidence of the energetic material nanothermite, a highly engineered incendiary or explosive, throughout the dust that completely blanketed lower Manhattan that day. Government agencies including USGS and the EPA, as well as an independent engineering firm reported the ubiquitous presence of miniscule iron spheres but have not provided any possible explanation for their formation. These can only be the residue of thermitic reactions which are used by the military to cut through steel like a hot knife through butter. Still, this evidence of controlled demolition has not been introduced into the litigation. It is publicly available and should be entered into the case for the defense."
