The last time I visited a University campus was 20 years ago when I went to see John Judge who had a 1st generation Zapruder film and discussed why the Lone Gunman Story just wasn’t true. I felt powerless, passive and out of touch with my fellow man in creating momentum to hold someone accountable. There were many people who believed the government’s story — which brought about speculation and no concrete proof. No fingerprint, no physical evidence, eye witnesses, no facts. So it seemed! This is why AE911Truth and all others who endeavor to expose 9/11 and bring justice brought forth these thoughts as I watched the recent double header of “Firefighters, Architects & Engineers Expose 9/11 Myths” via live stream video… …the bagpipes start…. Michele Weiss-Little, sister of David Weiss of Rescue One, Midtown Manhattan is paying a touching tribute to her brother and the other fallen heroes: “MURDERED” we are reminded vividly, along with over 3,000 other humans that day. She said: With the power of love, with the power of our hearts, we can push back the evil men do, face the truth, find the courage to open our hearts, to hold accountable, to be responsible, to forgive, to love. The haunting strains of the lone piper playing Amazing Grace and projected photographs of the 343 firefighters who died at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, struck a somber note before a sellout crowd at the Marin Showcase Theater last Friday where main speakers Erik Lawyer, founder of Firefighters for 9/11 Truth and Richard Gage, AIA, founder of Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth, exposed the myths of the official story of 9/11. In The reality of 9/11 is rarely more poignant than when spoken by a firefighter. It somehow seems more real. Not everyone can relate to what an architect or an engineer does — their work is complex — hard to understand. But firefighters are different; we all know what they do. We all saw them rushing toward the towers, hurrying up stairwells while directing the public towards safety below. So when a firefighter holds up the book of guidelines that NIST (National Institute for Standards and Technology — tasked with explaining the skyscraper destructions) completely ignored in their investigation, and reminds you that they never tested for explosive residue in the debris, it hits home. It is this impact that could play the crucial role in bringing the message of 9/11 truth to wider public attention. This is the face of 9/11 that people can’t easily ignore or dismiss. These are a group of professionals — those most emotionally connected to the events of 9/11 — and it is this connection that resonates in every word this firefighter speaks. FF911Truth could well be the gravitas that gives many people the jolt to re-examine 9/11 — the impetus that makes the subject too difficult NOT to look at. This was the first of two back–to–back events dispelling common fallacies surrounding the destruction of three skyscrapers that day — seen by over 300 people in San Rafael, CA, and a similar number in San Leandro, CA — and thousands more via video web cast. You can watch the video archive of the Saturday night Erik Lawyer picked up the pace on WTC 7, comparing it to nearby buildings, WTC 3, WTC 4 and WTC 6 which were so heavily damaged that no firefighter would consider entering. In contrast, Lawyer said, “WTC 7 had pocket fires and no sign of major destruction that would keep Firefighters from fighting it.” Lawyer, later answering a question concerning destruction of evidence, cited Bill Manning, Editor of Fire Engineering Magazine, from his editorial Selling Out the Investigation: “Fire Engineering has good reason to believe that the ‘official investigation’ blessed by FEMA and run by the American Society of Civil Engineers is a half-baked farce [emphasis added] that may already have been commandeered by political forces whose primary interests, to put it mildly, lie far afield of full disclosure.” “If the FDNY start speaking out about this” continued Lawyer, “this thing is going to explode!” Lawyer structured his presentation as a series of commonly held myths about the WTC buildings on 9/11. The very irrationality of these myths made them quite easily disproved, even to a common layperson. To assist in this, he called on several experts. The first of these was Structural Engineer Kamal Obeid. Structural engineer Kamal Obeid took apart NIST’s so-called “elegant model” for the destruction of WTC 7 point by point, calling the theory, which took seven years to produce, embarrassing. He considers Building 7 a classic case of controlled demolition “no matter how you look at it — it’s too obvious.” Richard Gage, AIA, showed several video clips suggesting foreknowledge of the impending destruction before bringing up retired Palo Alto Firefighter Laila Selk and Seattle Firefighter Paramedic, Jason Abney, to read a few of the 118 first responder reports witnessing explosions and made available after the New York Times filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to get transcripts of the oral reports that the NY Fire Commissioner had preserved — destroying the myth that there were “no witnesses to explosions”. Former Controlled Demolition, Inc., explosives loader and photographer, Tom Sullivan, explained the process of bringing a building down with copper clad cutter charges, whose casings are self-consuming and hence leave no evidence. He said that there was no doubt in his mind, from day one, that WTC 7 was a controlled demolition. Look next month for a detailed article in “The Blueprint” on Mr. Sullivan. I must say I was impressed with the fact that we attracted a member of Control Demolitions Inc. Tom is the real deal — with CDI W2’s (proof of his employment by CDI) and FDNY certificate, and all. While that alone was impressive, the wider implications to having such a speaker present may prompt others to come forward. Many have noted that AE911Truth brings much needed professionalism to the 9/11-truth movement. While 9/11 truth itself has its own problems dealing with ridicule, character assassinations, and wild speculation on the part of the mainstream media, AE911Truth has brought forth critical credibility. With many recent media appearances (CBC, BBC, KMPH, Russia Today, and other forums), AE911Truth is breaking down many walls of ignorance. Gage’s informal pole prior to and after the evidence is eye-opening for everyone, if not an incredible mental switch that people who have “awakened” will experience. Should you ever venture to see this group live, you will likely be switched on too. Before the Perhaps the most important aspect of these presentations is the question-and-answer period, which allows concerned attendees to air their new found feelings of shock, denial, anger, fear, etc., and to obtain explanations for very important questions which are keeping them from “digesting” the information presented. It also gives them a chance to experience the “off stage” character of the speakers. And, in fact, they were found to be “down to Earth.” They were quite approachable, respectful, patient, and intelligent. Those of us involved in the 9/11 truth movement have heard, over and over again, explanations from the so called “debunkers” and NIST say that there were no explosions, or molten steel/iron, or free-falling buildings, etc. It was quite a relief to have irrefutable proof provided by Gage and Lawyer, and the other professionals quoted and brought forth as speakers. Thank goodness the DVD of the event will be coming in the next couple of months so that we can show the goods to the doubters. In the mean time be sure to see the 9/11: Blueprint for Truth DVD in the AE911Truth store for the best evidence to feed to them. Perhaps this double header dual-layered AE911Truth/FF911Truth event will be a springboard which other 9/11-truth organizations can emulate. We may see more powerful combinations of speakers in the near future. It is difficult for us 9/11 “truthers” to stand in the face of hatred, ignorance, and apathy. The forthcoming professionalism of the 9/11-truth movement is a very hopeful sign that helps all of us stand taller in our activism.
